Skiing and Snowboarding in Northern Utah

Utah's Wasatch Mountains are a mecca for winter sports enthusiasts, drawing skiers and snowboarders from across the globe. With legendary resorts, deep powder, and breathtaking mountain landscapes, the Salt Lake, Park City, and Ogden areas offer a winter wonderland for those seeking thrills on the slopes.

Salt Lake City Area

Alta in Little Cottonwood Canyon is known for its deep powder and classic terrain, Alta is a skier's paradise.

Adjacent to Alta in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Snowbird is famous for its challenging terrain and reliable snowfall. The tram takes you to some of the best terrain in the region.

As the name suggests, Solitude is a hidden gem located in Big Cottonwood Canyon, with excellent tree skiing and minimal crowds. It's a perfect spot for both skiers and snowboarders.

Another excellent choice in Big Cottonwood Canyon for both skiers and snowboarders, Brighton offers diverse terrain and a fun, laid-back atmosphere. Its night skiing is a local favorite.

Park City Area

The largest ski resort in the United States, Park City Mountain offers endless terrain for skiers and snowboarders. Its charming village is a plus too.

Known for its luxurious amenities, Deer Valley is a skier-only resort with immaculately groomed runs and excellent customer service.

Part of the Park City Mountain Resort, The Canyons features a wide variety of terrain, from gentle slopes to challenging steeps.

Ogden Area

With diverse terrain, incredible vistas, and relatively quiet slopes, Snowbasin is a local favorite. It offers everything from groomed runs to challenging bowls.

One of the best-kept secrets in Utah, Powder Mountain offers cat skiing, abundant powder, and uncrowded slopes. It's a true gem for powder hounds.
